My name is John Quinn, I am an Artist-Designer living and working on Saltspring Island which is located on Canada's West Coast.
In the Saltspring Market I'm known as the Vaseguy because I've sold my vases in the market since 1992.
CAST IN STONE masonry art vases are designed and handmade at my studio on Saltspring Island. Each is a unique piece that will never be replicated.

I'm sorry. My studio on Saltspring Island is closed this year. I hope to have sales available from the studio for the 2012 season.

Aquarium Decorations from Slate.

For the last few years scrap pieces of slate from my vase production has been finding it's way into my aquarium. The result has been an innovative method of using slate in an  aquarium without using any bonding material.
